FAQ - CHURCH QUESTIONS

ABOUT  NEW HOPE CHRISTIAN CHURCH - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - FAQ's

How should I dress?

We like people to be comfortable. Some dress in ties and dresses, others dress in jeans and sneakers. People can be casual but we ask that they dress modestly, especially in the summer.

What can I expect when I come to New Hope?

Upon arriving you will be greeted by friendly parking attendants. For your first time visit, blind your lights and they will assign you a parking space close to the doors to help make your visit less stressful.

More friendly people will greet you upon entering the building and answer any questions or help you to get to where you need to go. If you have children, they will assist you in getting them to their classes.

What kind of music do you have?

We have a contemporary style of music with a full band but sometimes playing acoustic worship sets with just a guitar or two and singers. We like to clap our hands during lively worship, it stimulates the heart and blood. No one is obligated to clap.

Do you collect money?

Yes, we take an offering during the worship time, this offering supports the church and all the ministries it has, locally and around the world.

What about the children?

We have a private Mother’s Room that overlooks the sanctuary with its own bathroom. This is for moms with infants to walking age.

Nursery begins at walking age and ends at three years old. Then the children go into their respective classes from three to twelve years old. Every child must be registered (once) and checked in every Sunday.

What about before or after services?

We have a café that serves refreshments and a light breakfast for those who choose to purchase it. It is not available after second service but it is open before the second service.
